GS1 and GS2 Magneto

here is some factory literature for the GS1 and GS2 to keep yours in top form. These were used on the Centaur and other smaller installations. They pack a substantial wallop despite their smaller size.  They suffered from the usual woes of a wound armature and insulation turning into sticky goo. Another problem area is the pot metal cam sleeve. It can swell up, distort,crack and crumble away. A good Rx for this is to machine a stock bronze bearing to the original inside diameter and make a new sleeve. When in repair they are a reliable hot magneto. Beware of special pitch metric threads before a frontal assault with taps and dies.
